Here it's layered over an American-style pale ale built on Munich, Caramalt, crystal barley, wheat malt and flaked oats, and dry-hopped with Chinook, Cascade and Centennial. The result is citrus-heavy in a way that feels distinctive rather than generic. The base malt is biscuity and slightly toffee-sweet, which provides a counterpoint to the tartness of the yuzu and the grapefruit character of the hops.
