Raspberry & Custard Christmas Berliner is a seasonal alcohol-free sour from Amundsen, taking the light, wheat-driven tartness of a Berliner Weisse and layering it with dessert flavours. It pours bright red and clear. Raspberry jam and custard open on the nose, the fruit sharp and sweet together. On the palate there is mild tartness balanced by creamy custard sweetness. Bitterness does not feature. The finish is clean and short. This is a sessionable, low-complexity fruit sour that does not take itself seriously. Being a seasonal release, availability will be limited to when it comes around.
