Part of Amundsen's Dessert In A Can series, the Chocolate Cinnamon S'mores pours deep ebony with a creamy head. Cinnamon and cocoa hit first on the nose, with toasted marshmallow threading underneath in a way that makes the camping reference feel genuinely apt. The palate is dark chocolate and biscuit malt up front, then soft cinnamon spice and a thread of vanilla carry through to a smooth, sweet finish. Bitterness barely registers. The texture is silky throughout, which is what you want from something built around these flavours. Like the rest of the Dessert In A Can range it is a beer that knows exactly what it is trying to do. Slightly smoky on the close, sweet from start to finish, and best approached on those terms.
