About This Drink
Double dry-hopping means the hops go in twice, once during and once after fermentation. The point is to preserve the volatile aromatic oils that would otherwise be driven off by heat or CO2, which is why DDH beers tend to be more intensely aromatic than their hop bill alone would suggest. Here Talus brings a herbal-grapefruit character alongside Citra's tropical citrus, and the mango and passionfruit additions layer sweetness into the aroma without contributing discernible sugar. It pours hazy golden yellow with a foamy white head. The aroma is immediately bright: citrusy hops, herbal grapefruit from the Talus, and a wave of tropical sweetness. Oats give the body a smooth, pillowy texture that carries the fruit and hop flavour well. Bitterness is low to moderate. The finish is short and clean with a tropical fruit echo. At 19 kcal per 100ml it is a light-calorie choice that does not compromise on intensity.
