About This Drink
Sauvignon Blanc tends to hold up reasonably well after dealcoholisation. Its naturally high acidity and punchy aromatics give the winemaker something to work with once the alcohol is removed, and this Spanish example keeps the variety's brightness largely intact. Pale straw in the glass, with lime, green apple, and elderflower on the nose. The palate is light-bodied and crisp, with citrus and a hint of tropical fruit carried by lively acidity. It finishes dry and clean. There's not a lot of weight to it, but the freshness is genuine.
