About This Drink
Blurred Vines Sharp is constructed from scratch. The base is a fermented blend of apricot and white grape juice, cold-brewed with koseret and manuka leaf, then finished with extracts of California poppy, nettle, clary sage, and jalapeño. There's no wine that gets stripped back here. On the nose: pressed gooseberry and manuka, with a clean herbal lift. The palate has mineral structure that's closer to a crisp white wine than most alcohol-free alternatives manage. Apple blossom and apricot sit in the mid-palate, lime peel adds brightness, and the tannin gives it some backbone. A fine spritz opens things up. The acidity is direct and genuine. Serve well-chilled in a white wine glass. It suits food in the way a sharp white would: fish, salads, light cheese. Low sugar at 2.4g per 100ml, vegan, and gluten-free.
