An organic kombucha soda from Counter Culture's Bristol fermentary, built around sharp, fragrant yuzu with enough brightness to cut through anything sweet.

Yuzu is the defining note here, and it doesn't hold back. There's a sharp, almost electric citrus quality to it that sets this apart from lemon or lime-based kombuchas. The acidity is present but Counter Culture have deliberately dialled it back from more traditional brews, so it finishes cleaner than the nose suggests. Brewed using a SCOBY culture of organic green tea and organic raw cane sugar, fermented at a consistent low temperature for a full month. The base is light, letting the yuzu dominate. Pale straw-yellow with fine carbonation. Good cold, straight from the can.
