A 0.5% sparkling white from Cornwall, made from dealcoholised wine and blended with five botanicals. Dry and crisp, with green fruit on the nose and lime and mango on the palate.
About This Drink
Nude pours pale gold with green hints and fine, lively bubbles that sit closer to a good sparkling white than most alcohol-free alternatives. The nose is bright: gooseberry, greengage, a suggestion of young banana. On the palate it's dry and fresh, with lime zest up front and riper tropical notes, mango mostly, coming through underneath. The bubbles are the thing here. They're fine and persistent rather than aggressively carbonated, which makes a genuine difference to the texture. The finish is clean and green-fruited, without the hollow sweetness that drags down a lot of AF sparkling wine. Like Blush, it's made in Cornwall from a dealcoholised wine base infused with the same five-botanical blend: Damask Rose, Lemon Balm, Rosemary, Ashwagandha and Damiana. The wellness angle is the brand's territory, but it's unobtrusive in the glass.
