Simple & Easy is the entry-level non-alcoholic IPA in Nepomucen's range, and the name is accurate. Citra brings tropical citrus and stone fruit. Sabro adds coconut, tangerine and a creamy softness. The grain bill uses oats and rye alongside wheat and barley to keep the body smooth. It pours extremely pale yellow to straw with a natural haze. The aroma is fruity and herbal, tropical citrus at the front with a lighter green, grassy note behind. On the palate, the hop character is present without being aggressive: pineapple and citrus zest, a brief flash of coconut from the Sabro. The malt is barely there. Bitterness builds through the mid-palate and fades cleanly. Not complex. But honest, consistent and easy to drink.
