Unwind positions itself as the evening drink in the Thrive range, where Peak is aimed at post-exercise recovery and Play at everyday drinking. The magnesium citrate (75mg per can) is the differentiator: magnesium is commonly associated with muscle relaxation and sleep quality, though the amount here is supplemental rather than therapeutic. The brewing method is the same across all three Thrive beers. A patented non-alcoholising yeast ferments without producing ethanol, avoiding the dealcoholisation process entirely. In the glass it's hazy golden. The aroma is citrus-forward with tropical fruit and pine. The palate is dry and crisp, with citrus peel, green hops and a faint herbal edge. Bitterness has genuine presence without going harsh. At 20 calories per 100ml it's among the lightest in the AF IPA category.
