Birra Moretti Zero
The alcohol-free version of Italy's Birra Moretti, a 0.0% lager with a pale malt base, some hop bitterness, and a lemon note that keeps it from being flat.

Birra Moretti Zero is brewed and then dealcoholised, putting it in better shape than beers brewed to low ABV from the start. It pours pale gold with decent carbonation and a white head that holds for a moment. On the nose you get light malt and a grassy hop character with a bit of lemon cutting through. The taste is broadly what you'd expect from a mainstream Italian lager without the alcohol: bready malt, a restrained bitterness, and citrus in the background keeping it from being one-dimensional. The body is light-to-medium, the finish is clean, and it doesn't linger unpleasantly the way some dealcoholised lagers do. It sits comfortably in the mainstream AF lager space alongside the likes of Heineken 0.0 and Peroni Libera. Nothing here will surprise you, but it's a solid, recognisable option for lager drinkers who want something familiar.
