About This Drink
The unflavoured entry in the Lo Bros range, brewed from black and green tea with no added fruit or botanicals. The result is kombucha stripped back to its essentials: naturally tart, mildly vinegary, and dry. Erythritol and stevia replace the residual sugar to keep calories very low. It pours pale amber and clear, with fine steady carbonation. The aroma is green tea, apple cider vinegar, and a light yeasty note from the ferment. Nothing fruity or floral. On the palate it is clean and sharp, with the organic acid character of a well-fermented kombucha carrying through from start to finish. The tea comes through lightly in the mid-palate. This is for people who already know they like kombucha. It also works as a base for mocktails where a fruity kombucha would pull in the wrong direction.
