ISH London Botanical Spirit provides the botanical base: sun-dried Southern European juniper, Provençal coriander seeds, bitter orange peel and peppercorn. A quinine-forward tonic supplies the familiar bitterness and the carbonation. Together they make a convincing canned G&T rather than a soft drink dressed up with botanicals. Juniper opens it, followed by citrus from lemon, lime and mandarin. The tonic bitterness sits underneath, clean and precise. A chili seed distillate adds background warmth that gives the finish more substance than most zero-alcohol alternatives manage. At 24 kcal and 5g sugar per 100ml it is light. Serve chilled straight from the can, or pour over ice in a highball and add a sprig of rosemary and a few dried juniper berries.
