Staropramen Brewery opened in Prague's Smíchov district in 1869, growing into the Czech Republic's second largest brewery. The name means 'old spring', registered officially in 1911. Today the brand exports to 37 countries, owned by Molson Coors but still brewed in Prague.

Czech brewing traditions shape everything. Saaz hops, the aromatic variety that defines bohemian pilsner, combine with spring barley from the Czech countryside in a recipe the brewmasters keep close. The result is proper Czech lager: crisp, balanced, refreshing.

The non-alcoholic version maintains that character at 0.0% ABV. Good foam, genuine lager aroma, and a flavour that doesn't feel like something's been stripped out. Czech judges agreed: the 0.0% picked up recognition at domestic beer competitions not long after its release.

Czech lager occupies a special place in beer culture. The country drinks more beer per capita than anywhere else, and quality expectations run high. Staropramen's alcohol-free version has to satisfy drinkers who know exactly what good beer tastes like.

UK availability is strong through Molson Coors' distribution network, appearing in supermarkets and specialist beer shops.
