Neon Raptor
Neon Raptor emerged from Nottingham's creative quarter in 2016, launched by Brett Preston through a crowdfunding campaign. The brewery and taproom share the same space on Avenue A in Sneinton Market, with twelve taps pouring beer straight from source. Dinosaurs and retro video game references run through the branding, setting the tone for a brewery that doesn't take itself too seriously.
The beer, however, is serious business. Neon Raptor has built its reputation on hazy, hop-forward New England IPAs alongside an experimental streak that embraces unusual ingredients and unexpected flavours. Pale ales, stouts, sours: they move freely between styles, united by a craft approach that prioritises flavour over convention.
Their low-alcohol and alcohol-free range applies the same philosophy to the growing AF market. Non-alcoholic IPAs feature in their lineup, bringing the tropical, juicy character of their full-strength hazies to drinkers avoiding alcohol. It's not the largest AF range, but what they produce carries the Neon Raptor DNA.
The taproom offers the best experience, but their online shop ships nationwide. Their AF output is a small slice of a wider creative programme, which means availability can be patchy outside Nottingham.
