The ciders are made using pur jus methods, meaning 100% fermented apple juice with nothing from concentrate. Their orchards grow over 200 apple varieties, harvested between September and December. Production follows traditional French techniques including keeving, a centuries-old clarification method that creates naturally sweet ciders without added sugar.

Galipette's alcoholic range spans bone-dry Extra Brut through to the sweet Doux, with an organic Biologique and a distinctive Rosé made from red-fleshed apples. The alcohol-free versions mirror this quality. Their 0.0% Non-Alc captures baked apple and orchard character through careful temperature control during fermentation, stopping the process before sugars convert to alcohol. A Rosé Non-Alc completes the pair, using the same red-fleshed pommes à chair rouge for natural colour and sweetness.

The brand itself is owned by Cider Supply Co., a Swedish-Finnish venture, though production remains firmly rooted in France with Les Celliers Associés. This international backing has helped Galipette reach markets well beyond France, with UK distribution through supermarkets like Sainsbury's and Ocado, plus a dedicated US partnership with Artisanal Imports.

What sets Galipette apart in the alcohol-free category is the dry, tannic character inherited from Norman cidre tradition. The Rosé Non-Alc works well as an aperitif, while the standard Non-Alc suits richer dishes. These are ciders built around complexity rather than sweetness, which puts them in different territory from most of what you'll find on a British pub's alcohol-free shelf.
